Chase Sapphire Preferred Card

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card has valuable travel redemption bonuses, and there are multiple ways to earn bonus points:

  • 5x on travel purchases through Chase Ultimate Rewards® (excluding the annual $50 hotel statement credit)
  • 2x on all other travel purchases
  • 3x on dining, including eligible delivery services, takeout, and dining out
  • 3x on online grocery purchases (excluding Target, Walmart, and wholesale clubs)
  • and 3x on select streaming services

All remaining purchases earn 1 point per $1. At the end of each card membership year, you receive the equivalent of 10% of your annual purchases as points. This is one of the best credit cards for getting travel points thanks to the ability to earn rewards.

Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card

If you’re in the market for a premium credit card, the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card earns at least 2 miles per $1 on everything:

  • 10x on hotels and car rentals booked through Capital One Travel
  • 5x on flights booked through Capital One Travel
  • 2x on all remaining purchases

The annual fee is $395, and you can request up to 4 free authorized users. But since you get the $300 annual travel credit, your annual fee is offset to $95. Also, the Capital One cards all have a $0 foreign transaction fee.

These complimentary additional authorized user cards can visit participating airport lounges, which is beneficial for frequent flyers. In most situations, the Venture X is the best Capital One credit card for travel.

Bilt World Elite Mastercard

The Bilt World Elite Mastercard® can be your best option if you pay rent as this significant monthly expense can earn 1x Bilt Points (up to 100,000 points in rent rewards per year). Additionally, it doesn’t have an annual fee or foreign transaction fee, which makes it a budget-friendly option for earning rewards and building credit.

You will also earn Bilt Points on these purchases, in addition to rent:

  • 3x on dining
  • 2x on travel
  • 1x on all remaining purchases

However, cardholders will need to make five or more purchases per statement cycle to earn points for the month.

Citi Double Cash Card
